Today I faced problem in opening avast! Mobile Security as soon as I enabled Anti-Theft setting.
The application was prompting for PIN everytime I was opening it and as I didn't know the PIN I was not able to open the antivirus. I did following to resolve it.
1. Login to your avast account at My Avast
2. Select Appropriate device under My Devices tab. I had few Archived devices as, I had done couple of formatting in my Galaxy S3
3. In the Active device go to Anti-Theft tab and click on change settings below
4. In the popup window provide the new desired Avast PIN (ex 00000) and confirm it in reenter PIN (ex 00000)
5. Save the settings. Wait for successful "avast! PIN was changed" status
6. Restart the mobile/device and open the avast! Mobile Security by entering the new desired PIN (ex 00000).
